It has a somewhat lumpy idle, enough to know it's definately not stock, but not overly wild. Good low end and mid range power. 13" of vacuum in mine. You can get the cam and lifter kit from Jegs for $160.

Id want at least 10:1 compression with the 280 magnum and 2500-3000 stall.
