Webb29 nov. 2024 · This is much different from Rigidbody.Sweep because it can start at a specific pose, and it is not tied to the rigidbody's collision layers or to all of its possible child colliders. It also doesn't have the overhead of requiring a Rigidbody component. A SweepNonAlloc () version would be necessary too. Webb8 nov. 2024 · The PhysX scene forward integrates the geometry and momentum of the PxRigidBody instance and manages rigid body contacts that occur between the vehicle and the rest of the PhysX scene. The pose and momentum of the PxRigidBody instance is then passed to the vehicle’s rigid body for the next vehicle simulation step.

WebbThe PxScene object is the representation of the world in PhysX. Creating the scene requires a number of immutable parameters to be specified in the PxSceneDesc struct. The values of these parameters may vary between samples, so each sample has the opportunity to set values using the customizeSceneDesc () function: PhysX provides additional functionality for obtaining multiple results for triangle mesh and height field overlaps, and for sweeping against arrays of triangles.
